Needs Assessment

2006 Klamath County Needs Assessment

Periodically the United Way of the Klamath Basin works in partnership with many diverse public and private organizations to statistically survey the top 25 health and social service needs of our area.

It is the mission of the needs assessment to examine the most pressing health and social service needs of our area and to make recommendations or community solutions that will reduce the level of these top community problems.

Consistently, the top social problems identified in the past 20 years in Klamath County remain to be drugs, alcohol abuse, child abuse, and domestic violence/physical abuse.

The most current needs assessment study was published in July of 2006 and a limited number of copies are still available at no charge to Klamath County residents by contacting the United Way office at 541-882-5558, or you can view it here.
