Fund Raising Committee

Approximatly 200 volunteers participate in raising money for
the United Way Community Campaign, the Oregon Employees
Charitable Fund Drive, and the Klamath & Lake Counties Combined
Federal Campaign.

These volunteers serve as campaign coordinators
at their workplace, and others assist by volunteering to be part of the
campaign leadership team. The 2009 United Way Community Campaign raised $770,817. The 2010 goal will be set in May.

Fund Distribution Committee

This committee enlists the help of 40 to 50 volunteers each year from April 5 through May 5th of each year. Volunteers each contribute about 20 hours during this time. After a thorough review of all the agency programs seeking funds these volunteers make a funding recommendation to the 36-member United Way board of directors.
